Instead of trusting God to deliver the peace he promises IN all situations — easy or difficult, good or bad — sometimes I default to relying on the quality of the situation to give me peace … instead of on the One who not only provides the peace in the first place, but also lets my heart beat another second so I can have the opportunity to step forward in faith at all! To trust in what I can’t see as opposed to what I can see … but with frail, mortal, often shortsighted eyes.
