The first part of Psalm 19 reminds us that creation itself declares God’s glory — in essence, offers proof that the Lord indeed exists — and as a result we can and rejoice in that assurance. 

But along with that truth comes responsibility on our part, as Pastor Scott pointed us to Romans 1:20 and Paul’s declaration that because God’s existence is self-evident through his creation, we are all responsible to respond to the Lord’s mighty power. Indeed, we’re “without excuse” and cannot just go on living our lives however we want to live them … we have a creator we must acknowledge and answer to.
