What’s the first emotion that hits you when someone you’re trying to speak to — particularly when it’s something important — tells you to wait?

And what is it that you’re forced to wait for, exactly? The end of a funny video? A football play from scrimmage? A favorite song to finish up?

Do you feel frustrated? Annoyed? Angry? Disappointed?

Now ask yourself how God must feel when he has something important to tell you, and you keep him waiting? Or you go on ignoring him altogether?
