On the Move

On the Move is a ministry to single women or the elderly who are moving but have no help with which to do it. Under the leadership of Ken Burres, this group of men pulls together and provides and/or supplements the physical labor needed by those who have no (or limited) resources on whom they can rely in making a local move. If you are willing to give of your time and strength for a few hours several times a year, contact Ken at

Operation Christmas Child

Our AWANA Clubs participate in Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child. This giving ministry is not limited to those who attend AWANA; it is open to all who attend our church. In the fall, simply take a shoebox and fill it with items that can bless a boy or girl in an underprivileged area. Watch for more information in October.

Each Sunday morning, we are blessed to have parking attendants who help drivers to parked spaces. Also as a blessing, we offer valet parking to help our elderly or those who have difficulty walking to and from our parking lot to our entrance. If you would like to volunteer to help in this ministry, please contact Frenel Ceide at

Salvation Army Bell Ringers

Several of our GraceWay church family volunteer as bell ringers for the Salvation Army outside WalMart at Hamilton Marketplace in the weeks leading up to Christmas. It is our desire at GraceWay to keep those who attend our services safe, especially our children. Each Sunday, we have men who serve on a rotation schedule to help parents check their children in KidCheck as well as be sure our children's classes for both services remain safe. It is also our desire for various men to be posted at various locations throughout the building to also be on the alert to help in times of need or to keep those attending safe. If this is a ministry you would enjoy serving in, please contact Denny Dunscomb at

If you would like to help distribute bulletins prior to our Sunday morning services or aid people in finding a seat, we could use your help. Ushers are needed for all three of our Sunday worship services and is under the direction of our head usher, Ken Burres. Please contact him at if you are interested in volunteering.

Children ages 4 through having completed 4th grade attend our VBS the third full week in August from 9 am to 12 pm while Adventure Camp continues each afternoon for children who are entering 1st grade through having completed 4th grade from 12 pm to 5 pm. If you are able to donate every morning or a few mornings for VBS there are several ways to minister from leading children to and from activities to serving snacks. If you have afternoons free and would like help during our Adventure Camp, there are opportunities to help supervise lunch time as well as being a chaperone on one of our daily adventures. If you are interested in learning more, contact

Youth Ministry

If you enjoy working with junior or senior high youth, our biggest need for our youth ministry is adults who can lead our wrap up session at the end of each youth night. Groups are broken into like gender. Adults lead students to discuss what was taught during the lesson to reinforce it. If you have more questions about this area of ministry, contact our youth pastor, Mitar Rudanovic at for more information.

Adult Fellowship Time

Every Sunday, for a half hour between our morning services, anyone who is in 6th grade or older is invited to the FLC for light refreshments. This is a time for adults to meet new people or catch up with older friends particularly those who worship in different services. This ministry involves shopping for and preparing the refreshments as well as setting and cleaning up in order for us to be able to enjoy this special time. Volunteer helpers are needed. If you would like to participate in serving in this ministry, contact Donna Scala at

Angel Tree

Each Christmas season, GraceWay participates in the Angel Tree ministry under the auspices of Prison Fellowship. This ministry is designed to provide gifts for children of incarcerated parents in hopes of maintaining or re-establishing family relationships and offerin the hope of Jesus Christ to hurting children and their caregivers. We have an opportunity for short-term service in a variety of ways: callers to contact care-givers, individuals to manage the paperwork involved, helpers to sign-out angels from the tree, and people who seek opportunities to share the gospel as they deliver gifts. This is a wonderful opportunity to minister to the "least of these!" If you would like to volunteer your time in one of these ways, please contact Linda Jeanes at

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15) AWANA is an international, Bible-centered ministry for children and youth designed to equip churches and parents to raise spiritual champions who know, love, and serve Christ. They meet Friday evenings from September through May from 6:45 to 8:45 pm. Our ministry is geared towards children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade! Christmas Live!

Christmas Live! would not be possible without the help of nearly everyone who attends GraceWay! From decorating Christmas trees to painting backgrounds, from serving refreshment to construction of sets, from greeting guests to helping children with crafts, there is a job that fits YOU and your God-given gifts. It is never too early to volunteer to help with this ministry. To learn more about Christmas Live! visit our website for it and email Fran Emmons, our director, at to find out how you can help!

On the first Sunday of each month, those believers who attend our morning worship services are able to partake of communion. Communion is able to happen because of those willing to volunteer on a rotation list to purchase the items, set them up, and then clean up after communion. If you would like to participate in helping this ministry, please contact Don Biggs at

Golden Heirs

Our Golden Heirs ministry serves seniors in the Hamilton area the 3rd Tuesday of most every month. There is a luncheon accompanied by a speaker or musical entertainment. The luncheons are organized and run by Fay Sortore with a group of volunteers who work hard throughout the year on this important ministry. This group of volunteers helps set up and clean up tables, purchase and prepare the food, and plan for other events such as a trip to Sight and Sound in Lancaster, PA. If you are interested in helping with this ministry, please contact Fay Sortore at or Joe Babij at

Good News Clubs

Child Evangelism Fellowship offers Good News Clubs in many of the township schools. Clubs meet once weekly after school and present the good news of the gospel through songs, Bible stories, memory verses, and games. All materials are provided by CEF. Many individuals from GraceWay volunteer, along with those from other Bible-teaching churches, as teachers or helpers in the clubs. More volunteers would make it possible to have clubs in additional schools. If you have a heart for children and are available after school one day per week, Good News Club is a ministry to consider. For more information, contact Tammy Wotjko at

Grace Group Host

Our grace groups are divided into two sessions; the first meets from September through November while the other meets from January through May. To learn more about the workings of these groups, visit our Grace Groups page. In order for this ministry to be successful, we need people who are willing to open up their home for a few hours each week to host a small group of 8 to 15 people. If you would be interested in opening your home to a group for an upcoming session, please contact Don Schwing at

The Lord is continuing to grow our family, and we need you to help us greet and guide these guests each weekend. We need greeters at each of our three Sunday service at 9:00 am, 10:45 am, and 6:00 pm. Whether you stand outside one of our many entrances to open doors or you are available at various locations in the building to assist our guests with needs or to direct them to our services or classes, each greeter has an important role each Sunday. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, contact Pastor Don Schwing at Click on the word Greeter for more helpful information on being a GraceWay greeter!

Hearts in Motion

On the second Sunday of each month, a group from GraceWay meets at Hamilton Grove Nursing & Rehab Center to minister to the residents from 2 pm to 4 pm. Under the leadership of Sheree Rambana, this group of "hearts" visits with the residents, talks with them individually, leads them in singing and other forms of worship, prepares crafts, and participates in other types of activities with them. These visits help bring worship back into the lives of many who are no longer able to get out as well as eliminate boredom and loneliness many face on a daily basis. You are more than welcome to join us next month! If you would like more information on this ministry, contact Denny Dunscomb at

Lawn Crew Ministry

Each week during the spring, summer, and fall months there are teams of workers who faithfully mow, trim, and maintain our lawn. Lawn care is a necessary task which needs to be done regularly, not only because we want to maintain a good witness to all who pass by our highly visible corner each day, but because we want to be good stewards of this beautiful property God has provided us. Under the leadership of Greg Wereski, this ministry requires committed volunteers who are grouped into teams and scheduled for specific weeks throughout the season. Additionally, the teams are dependent upon the faithful ministry of several men who keep our movers in running order. If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact Greg at

Meals Ministry

Almost every week we have women who are making meals for someone who has had a baby, been in the hospital, experienced a death in the family, or for some other similar situation. Within Women of Grace is our meal ministry which provides meals for people within our church body who have the need. This helps to take the pressure off a family who is going through a difficult or unusual time and allows us to show our love for them. If you would be interested in preparing a meal for someone periodically, please e-mail Renee DiLapo at It will be a blessing for you and the recipient of your service.

Media, Sound, & Lighting Technicians

There is a ministry actively serving upstairs in the balcony each week which you may not even notice. Our sound, media, and lighting technicians are responsible for all of our sound, visual, and lighting needs for all services at the church and they work to help maintain an atmosphere for your optimal worship experience. This ministry is always open to train additional volunteers. If you would be interested in exploring this ministry possibility, contact Calvin Wilson at

MOPS Mentors

Our Mothers of Pre-Schoolers ministry is a success because of those older women in our church who serve as mentors during our meetings. These women come alongside of our young moms to encourage them and help them during times of need. If you are interested in being a MOPS mentor, please contact Chrissy Sitarov at

Our desire is to provide parents with an opportunity to worship in our services while their children are well cared for in a cheerful and caring atmosphere. Our nursery is for infants and toddlers through two years of age. All those who volunteer in this ministry must participate in a background check. We need nursery workers for both of our morning worship services as well as our evening service and in the summers during our mid-week summer nights. For more information or to volunteer, contact Charlotte Toth at

Office Help

Each week volunteers come alongside our office staff to help fold bulletins and insert literature in them as needed. At various times throughout the year, we also use volunteers to help answer phones while our administrative assistants are on vacation. If volunteering to help in these capacities interests you, please contact our church office at
