Growing to Three Services

8, 9:30, 11AM – Starting 9/7

1. Why are we going to three services?

Our worship center holds 208 chairs, and most Sundays we're at 84% capacity—sometimes more. Experts in church growth tell us that once a room hits 80%, it begins to feel full, and new people feel like there’s no room for them. We're adding a service to make room for growth that God is clearly bringing.

2. Is GraceWay getting too big?

No. We’re not chasing numbers — we’re following our mission. Every person represents a soul. We’re growing deeper in discipleship and wider in outreach. A third service helps us stay healthy as a growing community, not just a crowd.

3. How are we going to find enough volunteers?

This change does stretch us—but it also opens doors. We believe God is calling new people to step up and serve. Our team will actively recruit, train, and support new volunteers. Many hands make light work, and this is an opportunity for more people to experience the joy of serving.

4. Will the preaching and worship be different in each service?

All three services will have the same sermon and style. Our goal is consistency and excellence in each service. You won’t miss out if you attend the 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 AM service.

5. What will happen to Sunday school classes for kids and adults?

Some classes may shift times to align with the new service schedule. Others may combine or rotate. We’re working with every leader to come up with creative, effective solutions so discipleship continues at every level.

6. Will children’s ministry be available at all three services?

Yes. Our goal is to provide consistent children’s programming during each service, and we’re actively preparing to staff and supply each hour accordingly.

7. Will I still see my friends? Won’t this split the church?

Relationships are the heart of GraceWay. While you may not see everyone every week, we’ll still gather for churchwide events, ministries, and midweek groups. And we encourage you to meet new people—you might be surprised at the joy in that!

8. Isn’t this going to burn out our staff and leaders?

We're taking care to build teams, share responsibility, and pace ourselves. The church is a body, and we’re relying on all its parts. With shared commitment and God’s help, this can be a joy—not a burden.

9. What does this say about where GraceWay is headed?

We believe God is calling us to expand—not for comfort, but for mission. New people are coming. Children are being born. Lives are being changed. We want to be ready for what God is doing.

10. What will children's ministry look like?

We will have Nursery, Toddler Care, and Children's Church at 8AM and 11AM, with Nursery, Toddler Care, and Children's Sunday School at 9:30.
