Position Title: Worship Leader
Reports To: Executive Pastor
Position Type: Full-Time
Location: GraceWay Bible Church, Hamilton, NJ
Position Summary:
The Worship Leader is responsible for leading the congregation in authentic, Christ-centered worship that glorifies God and aligns with the mission and values of GraceWay Bible Church. This individual will prayerfully plan and lead worship services, develop volunteer teams, and cultivate an atmosphere of reverence, joy, and spiritual engagement through music and other creative expressions.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Plan, coordinate, and lead worship services in partnership with the pastoral staff.
● Select music that is theologically sound and aligns with the evangelical identity of the church.
● Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team members (vocalists, musicians, tech).
● Lead rehearsals and ensure all worship elements are prepared with excellence.
● Collaborate on special services (e.g., Easter, Christmas, baptisms, etc.).
● Oversee sound, lighting, projection, and livestream needs related to worship.
● Model and encourage a lifestyle of worship, spiritual maturity, and teamwork.
● Manage worship ministry budget and maintain equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
● A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a life marked by integrity.
● Agreement with the core beliefs and mission of GraceWay Bible Church.
● Proficient in vocal and instrumental music (preferably guitar or keyboard).
● Ability to lead contemporary worship with theological depth and emotional connection.
● Appreciation of traditional hymns and understanding of importance to worship.
● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
● Experience leading worship in a church setting is preferred.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
● Flexible full-time hours
● Salary commensurate with experience
