awanA Clubs
Awana clubs are for children ages 3 years old to 6th grade. Each week the clubbers have a lesson from the Bible, sing songs, play games and memorize scripture. Awana International desires to help churches "...refocus on relational, scriptural, and experiential child discipleship." GraceWay's Awana meets on Fridays, 6:45-8:45 pm during the school year. There's something for kids of all ages at GraceWay's Awana Clubs. Kids ages 3 & 4 are part of Cubbies where they're introduced to God and His love for us. Kindergarten thru 2nd grade are in Sparks where they grow more in their knowledge of God and how He sent Jesus to save us. In Truth & Training, 3rd - 6th graders really dig into the Word and how it affects every area of their lives.
Awana Activities
Awana clubs also participate in fun activities outside of club each year. These include hayrides, ice skating, hiking, and bounce parks to name a few. Awana clubbers also have a service project each year. One year they raised money for a missionary who needed a vehicle. This year they're supporting an Awana club in Africa.
