Let's acknowledge that the Lord has already given us the ability to control our thoughts. We can train our minds to not focus on what has come before. Pastor Scott emphasized to us that, in fact, we CAN be in charge of what we dwell on in our minds!
The Shepherds Share
The shepherds were the first evangelists for Jesus, and they had no special training. They weren't given a handout on how to share the "Four Spiritual Laws" — they just WENT, and then they opened their mouths and shared the good news.

Worship happens when we open our hearts and come in contact with the heart of God — after which a kind of cosmic explosion takes place, leading to many wonderful things. It could be making a change in our lives, it could be letting the Lord lead us new directions. But most of all, worship — real worship — is when we say to God, "Lord, you are the greatest, and I want to give my whole life to you, and give you all that I have."
Joseph's Obedience
Matthew 1:18-25
Joseph doesn't get much credit. Unlike Mary — who had no choice about being pregnant with Jesus through the Holy Spirit — Joseph HAD A CHOICE. He could have disobeyed the Lord, just like many other biblical figures did before him ... but Joseph stayed obedient. He said yes to the Lord without questions or hesitation.
