Adult Ministries

Besides having specific men and women events as shared on the Women's Ministry and Men's Ministry pages, GraceWay also has various combined adult ministries where men and women can gather together for ministry opportunities that include studying God's Word, fellowshipping with others, and serving the church and community. We have a single's ministry, a couples' fellowship, a monthly senior luncheon, as well as community outreaches during which the entire family can serve together such as Christmas Live! and Trunk or Treat. Whatever your age, gender, or marital status, we strive to help each person who attends GraceWay connect with others.

  • Adult Education Classes

During both our 9:00 am and 10:45 am worship services, we offer several classes. These classes change quarterly, but each one is focused on helping you grow in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. For a copy of our current brochure with brief descriptions of the classes we are offering, click on the words Adult Education Classes.

  • Adult & Youth Fellowship Time

Every Sunday 10:15 - 10:45 am in the FLC Every Sunday, for a half hour between our morning services, anyone who is in 6th grade or older is invited to the Family Life Center for light refreshments. This is a time for adults and youth to meet new people or catch up with older friends particularly those who worship in different services. Make it a point to stay a little longer or come a little earlier and take advantage of this opportunity.

  • Bowling Ministry

GraceWay’s bowling ministry has two teams: GraceWay 1 & GraceWay 2. We bowl with the YMCA Church League, which is a USBC (United States Bowling Congress) sanctioned league. Both men and women ages 16 and above can participate. Our GraceWay 1 is captained by George Peer and Graceway 2 is captained by Kathy Perroni. The league meets at Curtis Lanes in Ewing at 6:30 pm on Mondays from early September through mid-May. There is an awards banquet at the end of each season. GraceWay teams are always looking for enthusiastic players and ministry participants of all skill levels from beginner to "pro." If interested, please contact George Peer at 609-610-2703 or

  • Adult Choir

Our adult choir participates in our 10:45 am worship service nearly each week September through May. They faithfully practice each Sunday afternoon before the evening worship service from 5:00-5:45 pm. Our adult choir also prepares for and performs two cantatas each year; one for Easter held on Palm Sunday at 6 pm and the other for Christmas held the Sunday evening prior to Christmas at 6 pm. The practices for these special services are held Sundays from 4 pm to 5 pm. Our choir is under the direction of Karen Schmalbach. If you would like to use your voice to worship in song, please contact her at

  • Christmas Live!

    Visit for more info!

Christmas Live! is a great ministry to get involved in! Not only will you have the opportunity to serve the Saviour as you do, but you will have a great opportunity to get to know others in our church family. Christmas Live! is directed by Fran Emmons. This ministry is possible because of the dozens of volunteers who give their time to fill the numerous roles from serving coffee to riding the trolley to setting up or participating in one of the scenes. If you have a willing heart to serve the community and Christ at Christmas, this is a ministry for you! Contact Fran for more information at Christmas Live! is normally held the first two Fridays and Sundays in December. We begin preparing as a church whole each Sunday evening in the month of November.

  • Golden Heirs

    Ministry for Senior Adults

On the third Tuesday of each month September through May, Golden Heirs meets in our Family Life Center for a fellowship luncheon. The luncheon costs $7 per person. Each month it is held, over 100 seniors gather together, enjoy a time entertainment, and brief word of devotion from God's Word. If you would like to join us for our next luncheon, contact the church office at

  • Greeters

Though we hope that everyone would extend a greeting to someone they have never met before, we have a ministry whose goal is to make sure each of our guests is welcomed as he/she visits our church for the first time. Whether you stand outside one of our many entrances to open doors or you are available at various locations in the building to assist our guests with needs or to direct them to our services or classes, each greeter has an important role each Sunday. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please contact Pastor Don Schwing at  Click on the word Greeter for more helpful information on being a greeter!

  • Grace Groups

A Grace Group is one of GraceWay's keys to help the church body connect spiritually. People meet weekly in small groups in homes or the church library for the purpose of learning more about God and His Word and for prayer. Grace Groups are not just meetings; they are groups of people who are committed to one another. Being connected with a Grace Group allows people to develop a deeper level of friendship and community amongst one another. To learn more, click on the words Grace Groups.

  • Convicted

We have a special Grace Group that meets at the home of our youth pastor each Saturday night at 7 pm for a time in God's Word. This group is for our college and career adults ages 18 through 30. If you desire to seriously study the Word of God with your peers and would like more information, contact

  • Drama Team

Our drama team is used during our worship services at various times of the year. This ministry is for those with a heart to portray truths of Scripture through drama presentations.

  • Hearts in Motion

    Nursing Home Ministry

On the second Sunday of each month, a group from GraceWay meets at Hamilton Grove Nursing & Rehab Center to minister to the residents from 2 pm to 4 pm. Under the leadership of Denny Dunscomb, this group of "hearts" visits with the residents, talks with them individually, leads them in singing and other forms of worship, prepares crafts, and participates in other types of activities with them. These visits help bring worship back into the lives of many who are no longer able to get out as well as eliminate boredom and loneliness many face on a daily basis. You are more than welcome to join us next month!

  • On Bended Knee

Each Sunday morning at 8:00 am in our youth room, a group of people gather together to spend time before the Lord praying for our services and for individual prayer needs. Under the leadership of Harold Doctor, this group faithfully upholds our pastors, our services, and church family members before God for His protection and provisions each week. Isn’t it wonderful to know that there are those within our church who give to their time to provide this prayer support each Sunday morning? If you would like to be a part of this prayer group, please contact Harold at
