Pastor Emmons has served as a pastor of local churches for over 40 years and here at GraceWay as Senior Pastor for the last 25 years. Reared on a dairy farm in nearby Pemberton, he has lived in Texas, New York, and California before returning to teach at his alma mater. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University), Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM), and Westminster Seminary (PhD). He taught Bible, doctrine, and Bible study methods for over 32 years at Cairn University. He also writes occasionally for the Friends of Israel magazine, Israel My Glory. He and his wife, Fran, have celebrated over 50 years of marriage. They have two grown sons, Dan & Dave, and four grandchildren, Malachi, Luke, Jack, and Mercy. They love the outdoors, especially the seashore. He has dreamed of learning to fly an airplane, but is convinced that it will have to wait until he gets to heaven. His favorite verse of Scripture is Isaiah 55:8-9. "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways.
