Call to Worship: Devotional (By Pastor Dan Loch)
9 I have told the glad news of deliverance
in the great congregation;
behold, I have not restrained my lips,
as you know, O Lord.10 I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart;
Psalm 40:9-10
I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation;
I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness
from the great congregation.
Singing in church is so much more than mere tradition or religious ritual. When we lift up our voices we remind each other of God’s goodness and faithfulness. When we sing, we share God’s love with His people. Don’t wait for Sunday to remind others of His love. Sing with friends, family, and even by yourself in anticipation of gathering together in church. Whether you will be gathering with us in person or joining us online, sing out and remember God’s steadfast love and faithfulness.
